Erik Truffaz, the Swiss-born master of trumpet who has sold over 600 thousand records worldwide, is presenting his first album in three years, Doni Doni, featuring collaborations with Rokia Traoré and Oxmo Puccino.

One of the leading contemporary jazz groups, Erik Truffaz Quartet are sticking to the boundary between jazz and instrumental pop and seeking balance between originality and accessibility.

For their latest recording Doni Doni, released on Parlophone France/Warner on January 15th 2016, they’ve collaborated with two world-renown, award-winning voices, Rokia Traoré and Oxmo Puccino. The revered Malian singer Traoré and French hip-hop giant Puccino are two diametrically opposed characters that the music of Erik Truffaz Quartet will merge and fuse.

New inspiration and influences colour the new album, taken from a rich and scenic collaboration with the South African dance company VUYANI.
