TORUL

hybrid concert

For their 10th anniversary, Slovenian synthpop/indie band with a respectable international career Torul will present material off of their “best of” double album Teniversia at a hybrid event at Kino Šiška, adding past rarities and perhaps even some brand new stuff. Join their celebration via direct stream!

Everyone who bought tickets to attend the event at Kino Šiška is entitled to a refund (instructions).

Out of Torulsson’s solo beginnings more than 15 years ago, synth pop band Torul gradually grew into an internationally established trio that regularly performs abroad and is especially popular in Germany. The melodic blend of dark-tinged gothic atmosphere, rock energy and various electronic derivatives also convinced the legendary British band Mesh, which took Torul along on tour in 2013. Since then, the band has changed singers and played numerous clubs and festivals around Europe, including the famed Wave-Gotik-Treffen in Leipzig, Mera Luna and Amfi.

In May 2019, they debuted their acclaimed new album Hikikomori, which breathed fresh air into the band’s sound, at Kino Šiška. This year, they celebrated their 10th anniversary with the release of a double album of selected “best of” tracks, completely reworked or rerecorded. Combined with two new singles, the release reaffirmed their position internationally, as well as laying the foundations for a European tour with numerous dates. Their plans of course fell through due to the pandemic, but such a jubilee must be properly celebrated.

Due to current public health regulations, the number of spaces in our hall is limited, but have no fear – the concert will take place in hybrid form. Those of you who can’t get your hands on tickets or wish to support your favourite acts from the comfort of your own den can follow the performance via direct payable stream on the DICE platform, viewable on any smart device. See you at the gig!

Tickets for live stream via DICE.

Organisation: Kino Šiška.
