CLOCKWORK VOLTAGE 2026: SARAH SOMMERS

PLANET PINK GOES MODULAR

Presale 22 €

Walk-up 25 €

Festival ticket (presale) 30 €

Festival ticket (walk up) 35 €

On Friday, Clockwork Voltage moves to Kino Šiška for the festival’s main club night.

Our special guest is a Berlin based artist Sarah Sommers, who brings her distinctive modular live sound to Ljubljana crossing rave, techno, breaks, analogue grit and the unpredictable logic of a live patch.

Kathron and nobena, two members of the Clockwork Voltage community, will warm up the system.

Three artists. Three setups. One room.

And plenty of voltage between the speakers.

CLOCKWORK VOLTAGE 2026
Come for the synths. Stay for the people.

22– 24 October 2026 · Ljubljana

Clockwork Voltage is back for its fourth edition. Three days of modular synthesis, live electronics, experimentation, improvisation and the people who make this scene what it is.

What started as a gathering around a shared obsession with modular sound has grown into a meeting point for Ljubljana’s electronic music community and an increasingly international network of artists, builders, musicians and curious followers. The festival is not really about the machines themselves. The machines are just the excuse.

It is about what happens when people start connecting things. Cables, circuits, ideas, rhythms, feedback, chance and eventually, each other.

Modular music is inherently social. You borrow a patch cable, ask what that strange module does, discover someone else’s approach to sequencing and end up jamming with people you’ve never played with before. A simple signal can take an unexpected turn and suddenly become the beginning of something new.

That spirit runs through this year’s programme.

In three different venues, Clockwork Voltage moves from an informal community gathering and open-ended jam, through a night of modular club music, into a full day of experimental sound and a final dancefloor session. Local artists meet international guests, established approaches collide with unfinished ideas, and carefully designed patches are invited to misbehave.

There will be oscillators, feedback loops, improvised systems, deep bass, strange textures, accidental discoveries and, inevitably, a few cables that seem to have developed a mind of their own.

Organisation: Društvo KUD Oscilator, Zavod Artevida. The event is supported by MOL – Mestna občina Ljubljana.
