Singer and guitarist Jure Lesar, formerly the driving force behind the band Eskobars, will present his second solo album Je kaj novega, out via Dallas Records in February, on stream and with a full backing band. The album, which features veteran musical guests such as Zoran Čalić (ex-Majke, Big Foot Mama) and Martin Janežič – Buco (Hamo & Tribute 2 Love) deals with the relationship between a man and a woman, “from initial infatuation, friction, separation and ultimately – forgiveness.”
After Eskobars disbanded, Jure Lesar focused on his solo career, publishing his first solo album Zemljin sin in 2018. Hard-hitting lyrics captured the ears of attentive listeners, taking his music around the country, from the coast to the esteemed Cankar Hall in Ljubljana. This time, he’s stopping in Šiška with a full band to present his brand-new album.
