The Endemit collective has been shaping the Slovenian electronic music scene for over a decade as the descendant of the Formaviva crew. After years of searching for the right underground residency, the tribe is settling down in Kino Šiška to stir up the capital as it once did in the legendary halls of old Rog. RAVE ON x ENDEMIT is not a rave. It’s a cultural event at the highest level, opening with the screening of RAVE ON, an existential rave odyssey and a deep dive into Berlin’s club scene.

The common denominator of the German movie and Slovene music collectives is Ed Davenport (Inland), author of the soundtrack in RAVE ON and head of mastering at Endemit label, who is also a resident DJ at Berghain and Panorama. Thanks to Ed’s mastering skills, our line-up will revolve around MMali and his second vinyl release, which features a remix by Efdemin – another Berghain resident and main guest of the night.
RAVE ON (2025) is an epic depiction of rave culture that transforms the cinema screen into a nightclub. The camera follows Kosmo, a desperate artist, into Berlin’s notorious techno club to deliver his newest vinyl to a legendary DJ. Kosmo finds himself at real parties and venues to revive his career – but above all, he first needs to confront his past and himself. The film was directed by Viktor Jakovleski, a descendant of Yugoslav immigrants, known for the Apple TV series KRANK Berlin. Slovenian premiere of RAVE ON will be followed by DJ performances to create a real clubbing experience at Kino Šiška.
MMali is the curator of Endemit events, performer and producer, who will warm up the floor with new productions released on his second vinyl record. MMali has established himself as one of the most creative and versatile Slovenian underground DJs, transcending the boundaries of psychedelic deep techno and exploring groovy, progressive genres. His first vinyl, Issun-bōshi, which features Inland’s remix, has drawn the attention of techno veterans, while his second one will top it off with Efdemin’s remake.
Efdemin (Phillip Sollman) is a Berliner heavyweight and Berghain resident who has mastered all genres and styles – from ambient, house, and deep-techno to remixes of Depeche Mode pop classics. As a skilled musician, he conquered the film industry in 2006, producing the soundtrack for a music documentary, Don’t forget to go home – a title that ended up on MMali’s vinyl record 20 years later. Efdemin is our guest of honor not only because he is a true artist, but because his rework of MMali’s new tune is so keen and profound it might end up in Refn’s next blockbuster.
Ed Davenport (Inland) is a British producer and DJ with a residency in Berlin, where he traditionally closes Mondays at Panorama with his groovy marathon sessions. Ed is a valuable member of our collective, who regularly performs at our club events and our summer festival in Libeliče. He has greatly contributed to our cause with his remix of Matsuri, featured on our first vinyl record, as well as being the head of sound mastering of our Endemit label. As the author of the RAVE ON soundtrack, Ed shall close our clubbing night at Kino Šiška.
