Ghostemane official statement:

“To my fans in Europe and Russia—
As you know, several times over the last 2 years, we have been forced to postpone this upcoming tour, only to have those dates postponed again, and again.
While this is all been out of my control due to the volatile pandemic situation, I am realizing that what I can control is whether I choose to continue bringing you news of a delayed tour along with promises of new dates, or to break the cycle and put this 2-year-old let-down to rest. As hard as it is to say, these upcoming dates are cancelled.
I love you all and I can’t wait to play the new shit for you. When you see me, it’s gonna be bigger and heavier than ever. When I come back, it will be on my own terms, my way.
All tickets will be refunded from the original dates.”

The Florida-born rapper and singer Ghostemane began his music career in hardcore punk, becoming a fan of hip-hop after a friend introduced him to Memphis rap. Just four years ago he thus left his job, moved to Los Angeles and joined the Schemaposse collective, which also included the now deceased star Lil Peep. After the collective dissolved, Ghostemane began collaborating with the underground group $UICIDEBOY$ and rapper Pouyo, with his path rising steeply in just a few years.

Eric Ghoste has been releasing music as Ghostemane since 2014. As the project’s sole architect, Ghoste has created a singular canon of extreme music, incorporating elements of industrial, hardcore, acoustic, southern “phonk” rap, and experimental genres. With every album, Ghoste has grown as a producer, writer, and performer, blending his influences with increasing fluidity and ambition. His 2018 album N/O/I/S/E marked his most aggressive, advanced work yet, setting the table for his most anticipated album to date: ANTI-ICON. Dropped November 2020, ANTI-ICON is the culmination of Ghoste’s musical mutations, the personal sonic statement he’s been building towards his entire career.

Over five years, the extremely productive musician has released no fewer than seven albums and more than ten EPs (the last, Human Err0r, in 2019 with producer Parv0, who will also join him on tour), weaving a genre-defying expression that uniquely combines his rap and metal influences, from trap, hip-hop, industrial, black metal and emo rap to doom and punk, around dark, confessional topics such as depression, nihilism, death and occultism. His shows are notorious for their unbridled explosion of energy, wild, moshpit-packed delights that justify his reputation as one of the hottest names in contemporary music. This will be all the more evident at Šiška, as Ghostemane has a surprising connection to Slovenia, having collaborated with Slovenian urban collective TrashGang for some time now, making his concert in Ljubljana an unforgettable one for sure.
