Liffe – the Ljubljana International Film Festival – brings selected highlights of world cinema and award-winners from the most prominent festivals (Cannes, Rotterdam, Berlin, Venice, etc.) to Ljubljana and across Slovenia for the 37th consecutive year, while also highlighting the most important achievements in domestic filmmaking.
In Ljubljana, Liffe will take place from 11 to 22 November across seven festival venues (Cankarjev Dom’s Linhart and Kosovel Halls, Kinodvor, the Slovenian Cinematheque, Kino Bežigrad, Kino Šiška, and the Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film and Television Hall). With additional locations across Slovenia (Maribox Maribor, the Anton Podbevšek Theatre in Novo Mesto, and Kino Union Celje), the festival continues to engage and remain accessible to Slovenian audiences beyond the capital.
