A powerhouse post-rock doubleheader is headed our way, with two of the genre’s most beloved artists teaming up for a co-headline tour wielding crushing musical force, finely honed musical skills, and unmatchable cinematic scope. To top it off, they’ll be accompanied by one of the boldest artists of the younger generation.

ZA FENE: Russian Circles, God Is An Astronaut, Mono …

Born from freezing cold winters, And So I Watch You From Afar is an instrumental rock quartet from Belfast, renowned for their raw, stirring blend of math rock, post-rock, and experimental textures, sometimes angular and noisy, other times euphoric and overwhelming. Characterised by intricate guitarwork, frantic rhythmic shifts, and a driving energy, the music transcends the need for vocals. Since forming in 2005, they’ve toured relentlessly around the world, cementing their reputation as one of the most intense and technically precise live acts in the alternative circuit. Along the way, they’ve released a number of uncompromising albums, infused with the band’s relentless spirit of independence, realness, and resolve.

Another of the post-rock genre’s quintessential bands, Caspian have been worshipped for over two decades due to their ability to weave expansive, cinematic soundscapes that range from delicate whispers to crushing walls of sound. Defined by a triple-guitar assault and tribally inflected percussion, their output matches a full orchestra in intensity and has led them to be regarded as one of the most vital pillars of the modern instrumental genre. Their enduring legacy is built on a profound sense of storytelling without words, consistently pushing the boundaries of atmosphere and volume. Their previous live shows in Ljubljana have been hailed as unforgettable masterpieces and we expect nothing less this time around.

The professional moniker of Lane Shi, otay:onii is considered one of the most inquisitive and genre-defying artists of her generation. A multifaceted creator whose work spans performance art, installation, and avant-garde music, her music style is defined by vocals shifting from operatic heights to guttural whispers, layered over glitchy, industrial, and often hallucinatory soundscapes. Live, she’s built up acclaim at renowned festivals around the world, including being selected to kick off the first ever Triennium Residency at Roadburn this year.
