V kolektivu EnDvaSvetova smo posamezniki, ki želimo v luči genocida nad palestinskim prebivalstvom, ki se še vedno dogaja, izraziti svoje nestrinjanje z nasiljem, masovnim razseljevanjem in bombardiranjem civilistov.
In the EnDvaSvetova collective, we are individuals who, in light of the genocide against the Palestinian population – which is still happening – want to express our disagreement with violence, mass displacement and bombing of civilians. We are students from various backgrounds, musicians and members of the working class, who want to show by organizing a charity concert and donating to Palestinian organizations that even ordinary people without political power can help at least a little and act in accordance with our values.
The EnDvaSvetova music-theatre event is about celebrating music, culture and freedom of expression. All performers and organizers are giving up their fees for those who need it most. The proceeds of the entire event will go to families in Gaza who are living in catastrophic conditions and urgently need money to evacuate their loved ones and basic medical supplies.
We are also doing this to commemorate Hind Rajab and thousands of other children who were killed by the Israeli war machine with the support of the US, UK and EU.
The concert will take place on May 15, Nakba Day, at the Šiška Cinema. In addition to various musical and theatrical performances, we will organize stands with products by young artists from Slovenia and Palestine, which will be available for voluntary contributions. We will also organize an after party, which will take place in the Gala Hall for those who would like to dance until the end – of course, all proceeds will go to Palestinians there too.
