ZINE VITRINE: Zoe Miloš: izzzLo

exhibition

Zoe Miloš creates fanzines without copying or very rarely, in small editions of up to five copies. Because he uses painting techniques, the copies fail to convey interesting moments in his opinion, which is why multi-originality is not part of his creative process (for now). The fanzine form involves the combining of works, their mobility, using the function of leafing to eliminate the distance that is otherwise present between the observer and the observed. Experimentation, creation without a template, painting and non-painting materials and their interrelationship are what excite the artist, and the final product is only the result of this interest.

Organisation: Kino Šiška.

Free entry.

Zoe Miloš was born in 1994 in Rijeka (Croatia), where he also graduated in sculpture. Regardless of his study course at the faculty, he experimented the most in the media of painting, photography and graphics, which he still focuses on today. So far, he has also held exhibitions mostly in these media, with izzzLo the first exhibition where he features his fanzines. In 2019, he was introduced to fanzines by the Croatian artist Oleg Morović, and they have become one of the most frequently used art forms in his work.
