TRESK #12

Following the all-day grand fair at Stritarjeva Street, we’ll bring the Tresk #12 Festival to a close with the traditional concert in front of Kino Šiška! This year, the lineup will feature rising artists from the local urban music creative scene – 𝗦𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲𝘆𝗮, 𝗔𝗿𝗻𝗲 & 𝗧𝗮𝗼, .𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗻𝗶𝗸, 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱, 𝗗𝗼𝗿𝗮 𝗧𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗶!

All of the performers at this year’s Tresk #12 will be presenting fresh releases and debut albums, so we’re truly in for one heck of a concert evening by the younglings of the Slovenian music scene!

Sahareya
We’ve been waiting (too) long for a female artist to thrill the urban youth, grab Slovenian hip hop by the balls, and take our popular music to new heights. We’re proud that Tresk #12 is premiering the debut album by talented rapper and dancer Sahareya. Expect an explosive performance, full of hard-hitting bass pulses, exciting rhythms, and vocal acrobatics to make you drop your jaw. Proper party guaranteed.

Arne & Tao

Tresk #12 brings the premiere of the debut release by the key new voices of autochthonous hip hop expressiveness and proteges of Wudisban Records, introducing charismatic freshness to the home court. The talented music duo, guaranteed to stir up a buzz, can excite both fans of contemporary urban creativity and alter hip hop and random passers-by.

The Maribor-based quartet of YNGFirefly, mglc, Mlake and Larry is a boy band of the new generation of emotive autochthonous trap that draws inspiration from Scandinavian emo trap and early 2000’s pop punk. A pearl of regional urban creativity for more and less demanding audiences that will ensnare the national radio sooner or later. The fellas have just released their debut Pubeci ne jočejo, which they’ll premiere in Ljubljana at Tresk Festival.

Spiral Mind
Coastal trio Spiral Mind, led by Manuel Brajnik, break new ground in the field of Slovenian cross-genre creativity. Their mutant instrumental expression, which features elements of progressive rock, jazz fusion, 1980s film scores, ambient electronica and new age aesthetics, guides us through kaleidoscopic musical worlds, full of contemplative guitar melodies, ambient passages and melodious synth waves. Their new album, scheduled for release in autumn via ZARŠ Records, will be debuted live at Tresk #12.

Dora Tomori
Dora Tomori is a new voice from the younger generation of Slovenian music artists, exploring her internal topography and the world that surrounds her through music. Barely 18 years old, the singer-songwriter’s intimate lyrics touch on the topics of loneliness, freedom and love in the new normal. At Tresk Festival, she will debut her EP, made during lockdown.
