London-based TOY perform a combination of signature British psychedelic “shoegaze” rock with krautrock and post-punk influences, drawing equally on early 1970s electronic music as well as their contemporaries and friends The Horrors. Their new album “Join The Dots”, which will be out on Heavenly Recordings (The Magic Numbers, Mark Lanegan…) in December 2013, has won them a nomination for the Q Magazine “Best New Band 2013” award and the position of the official support of Placebo on their current European tour.
TOY are Tom Dougall (vocals / guitar), Dominic O’Dair (guitar), Maxim Barron (bass / vocals), Alejandra Diez (keyboards) and Charlie Salvidge (drums / vocals).

TOY’s debut single, “Left Myself Behind”, was released in 2011 and sold out in a day. It was described by The Guardian as some kind of a jam session between Stereolab, Felt and Pulp.
The band were picked as one of NME’s “100 New Bands You Have to Hear” in 2012, when their debut album was also released on Heavenly Recordings.
Their new album “Join The Dots” is among the most eagerly expected British indie albums in 2013.
