Following an ecstatic performance in 2018, the mysterious Zagreb electropop duo nipplepeople returns to Šiška. The masked sensation, which has been reigning supreme over regional stages since 2008, will once again turn the Katedrala Hall into a dance floor suffused in nostalgia, refined electronic beats, and irresistible rhythms.

The masked Zagreb duo nipplepeople has been considered one of the biggest enigmas of the regional music scene for nearly two decades – not only because the masked figures successfully conceal their identities and consistently refuse interviews, but primarily because they so effortlessly string together hit after hit without ever releasing a studio album. We first got to know them in Šiška back in February 2012 as special guests at a Lollobrigida show; since then, they’ve shifted into a significantly higher gear, selling out venues and thrilling festivalgoers at the region’s largest events, including Exit, Terraneo, Hartera, Sea Dance, and Sea Star.
In 2010, they paved the way for their regional breakthrough with the hit “SUTRA”, which took on a life of its own through numerous remixes worldwide. Unforgettable hits followed, such as the perversely cheerful trip-hop track “BROJ”, the masterpiece “BALKAN EXPRESS”, which even the iconic Denis & Denis would be proud of, as well as “TAJNA”, “NIKADA”, and “TI I JA”. However, it was the song “FRKA” that became a true phenomenon: a respectful update of the original by the legendary Zdenka Kovačiček, it became Croatian Song of the Year in 2017 and, with millions of views, solidified nipplepeople’s status in modern electropop expanses.
