THE VICES + Dva ponoči

concert

Fresh off their show at SXSW, The Vices, an up-and-coming Dutch indie band that has toured with Nothing But Thieves and Yungblud, are heading on their biggest international tour ever – and it’s taking them to Šiška!

The Vices present a contrasting mix of Britpop and Surf Rock – the lovechild of Cage The Elephant and The Strokes, possessing the live spark reminiscent of the early Red Hot Chili Peppers. Regardless of the big-name comparisons, the millions of streams racked up and acts such as Yungblud and Nothing But Thieves taking them along on tour, the promising Dutch band have always stayed true to themselves. Their childlike sense of fun and relentless ambition are reflected in their playful yet tight and explosive playing across stages all over Europe.

Following a packed festival summer and a performance at the famed SXSW festival in Austin, Texas, The Vices are embarking on their biggest international tour to date. The Spit It Out! tour, named not just after one of their lyrics but their whole way of life – open, honest and not interested in doing things the “normal” way – will bring them to Kino Šiška in April. Come mosh, come dance, come lose yourself and lose it for the night!

With their uncompromising sound, defined by the ups and downs of everyday life, the five-piece Dva Ponoči breaks down stereotypes about Slovenian popular music, its radio-friendly tunes quickly taking up lodging in your ears. The band, which includes former and current members of Regen and Drone Society, will play in Ljubljana for the first time, with the most authentic expression of themselves so far.
