SVEMIRKO I SOLD OUT

+ special guest Peki Pele

One of the most desired and desirable concert sensations in our region, the memorable Croatian pop trendsetters Svemirko, are returning to Šiška with their new album for a proper farewell to the summer.

When Svemirko, led by their main creative force Marko Vuković, wandered leisurely onto the music scene about four years ago, they probably had no idea of the quick rise to the top they were in for. Three albums and an enviable number of packed shows later there’s no doubt: Svemirko is one of the most popular bands in the region. Their blending of nostalgia and an inquisitive gaze into the future, the mix of known musical quantities, genres and philosophies, provided in a completely unique way, their pushing of boundaries while feeling familiar – however you look at it, Svemirko can please even the most refined audiences.

With their third album Skalamerija, released in November 2020, the band are concluding their album trilogy, begun with their debut Vanilija and its follow-up Tunguzija. Perhaps somewhat different to its predecessors, the album represents Vuković’s most idiosyncratic original work so far, gazing towards parties and dancing in the future. Considering the party they threw in Šiška at the release of Tunguzija a few years ago, the future is bright indeed.

Svemirko will be joined by special guest and labelmate Peki Pele, who combines dance pop with punk aesthetics and bedroom production. He bridges the stylistic gap with his music, as regardless of your personal genre preferences, you’ll find it impossible to stay still when his songs come on. His EP debut Deguté, mastered by Marko Vuković himself, reflects an optimistic, joyful worldview, a simple mantra glorifying the small things in life, such as the nights spent dancing and the days spent chatting over coffee.
