Have you always wanted your mum to meet Ivan, but have never managed to “drag” here to Kino Šiška? This time around, you’ll be able to listen to the competitors and Ivan’s new jokes about bass players from the comfort of your couch. But that’s not all! Štream enables you to show yourselves to the Špil Liga bands – Shiver River, Before Time and Lights Out –, as well as to Ivan and the rest of the audience via the Zoom platform, to dance with them virtually, chat and keep sharing your comments and questions.
The decision on who makes the finals remains in the hands of the expert jury, which will follow the event via Zoom, and the audience members, who will be able to vote for their favorite via SMS to the number displayed on the screen.
JAJA BOJZ, the young punks from Novo Mesto, blew up the Šiška stage at their previous gig. Their hard-hitting songs will resonate around an even bigger hall this time, and their catchy energy will undoubtedly spread through your homes as well. They’ve played quite a few gigs during their career and have attained enviable results at young band competitions.
DeBeat are alternative rockers from Šentjernej, who share a passion for the music they make. Recently, they’ve been focusing on original material, though their repertoire isn’t lacking for covers of well-known Slovenian and foreign groups. They’ve “brought down” quite a few large stages, such as Kolektivc, Rock Jernejevo, Motozbor Malence, Vičstock and others.
Manifest is a trio from the Carinthia region, a rebellious young band playing a blend of punk and hard rock. “If our music can help cast a light on the increasing injustice, lies and other empty talk, we’ll keep on making it until people realise there’s something bigger than themselves. Until it’s finally time to take to the streets and revolt again,” they say.
Organization: Kino Šiška.
