You’re warmly invited to the free Šiška Open festival, which will take place from early afternoon to late evening in the square in front of Kino Šiška.
The only true square in Šiška will feature presentations by various organisations based in Šiška. In the afternoon, the organisers of the annual ŠiškaFejst youth festival will put on skateboarding, rollerblading, BMX, hip-hop, breakdance, street art, circus skills and martial arts workshops, various creative workshops will take place, you’ll be able to enjoy a good book in the Library under the Treetops or compete in table tennis, the Lepa žoga restaurant will pay a visit, and you’ll be able to take a stroll around the square’s galleries.
The evening will begin with a performance by one of the three kings of Slovenian hip-hop, Zlatko! Then, it’s time for the final showdown of Kino Šiška’s first high school band league Špil liga, where the best bands of the 2016/17 season will square off against each other – Joker Out, The Mint, Rock Heroes and Lapsus. The winner of this season of Špil Liga will be selected by a jury of experts – and by you!
And for the grand finale of Šiška Open, you can look forward to a magnificent surprise!
