Austrian musician, performer and acoustic composer Thomas Gorbach from the art association The Acousmatic Project is coming to Ljubljana. Their opening concerts with eight speakers placed in a circle have grown into a concert organization with a specially built orchestra The Vienna Acousmonium, consisting of more than thirty speakers with the ability to manipulate live sound.

The registration fee, which will be returned at the workshop, is 30 euros.
With the technical development of this multi-channel sound system, Gorbach also developed his own technique for the interaction of acousmatic and electro-acoustic works at the controls of the mixing console: the Ephemeral Dynamic-Motion Sound Sculptures.
In the workshop, he will explain the principles of the loudspeaker architecture of his Acousmonium, the logic of the configuration of the channels and the musical principles of the analysis and performance notation of acousmatic works in the specially developed script.
