PSEĆA PLAŽA

Croatian audio-visual band Pseća Plaža, who warmed us up thoroughly ahead of last year’s Svemirko show in our Katedrala Hall, is returning with a new lineup and a fresh second album of enticingly psychedelic melodies, dreamy lyricism and pulsating tropical rhythms. Definitely one of those regional bands that it pays to pay attention to!

Pseća Plaža formed in 2016 in Zagreb, going through several phases of creative development and lineups since. Last year, a year after the release of their album debut Honolulu, we thus saw them in our Katedrala Hall as a trio doing a great job of warming us up for their colleagues Svemirko. This time around, they’re visiting us as a quintet with a new album Povratak u lagunu br. 07, released in March and featuring guest appearances by Hrvoje Nikšić (Studio Kramasonik, Šumovi protiv valova…) and Roko Crnić (Porto Morto).

The ten new songs again navigate between various musical influences, instilling a sense of sincere nostalgia for warm summer nights through psychedelic melodies, dreamy, personally engaged poetry, and pulsating tropical rhythms – even in the middle of November.
