The legendary Swedish metal band In Flames will play at Kino Šiška on Tuesday 12 May. Concert in Kino Šiška is part of a world tour presenting current studio record I, The Mask and 30 years of activity. We can expect music stampede with their older, iron classics and the best of the last period.
In Flames are among the most influential and important metal bands of the last decades. Since its launch in Gothenburg in 1990, the group has been constantly evolving and pursuing its own vision without compromise. The melodic death metal of the band’s early days has since evolved into a unique expression, manifested in 13 albums including The Jester Race, Clayman, Reroute to Remain, Come Clarity, A Sense of Purpose, Sounds of a Playground Fading, Siren Charms and the latest, I, The Mask, recorded in Los Angeles with producer Howard Benson.
Album I, The Mask, released March 1, 2019, was a huge success and reached # 1 in Sweden and Austria, # 2 in Germany, and # 1 in the US Top Rock and Metal Albums.
In Flames influenced many famous rock and metal musicians. They have sold over three million records, and with each their popularity around the world is only growing. In Flames are renowned for being fantastic concert performers and are among the most coveted metal attractions. They have crossed the continent several times, performing with Slayer, Judas Priest, Avenged Sevenfold, Disturbed, etc., and at major festivals such as Ozzfest, Download Festival, Nova Rock, Gigantour, Hellfest, Metalcamp/MetalDays.
Nine years after a great concert at the packed Kino Šiška, the Swedish metal champions are returning to the ‘crime scene’ on May 12 with their best songs and highly flammable show – ‘In Flames We Trust’!
