Damir Avdić, the sharp-spoken chronicler of our everyday life, will cut through the lockdown blues with a live stream from Šiška. He’ll intertwine material from his latest album will older hard-hitters, perhaps even spicing it all up with a new idea or two. No pathos, loud and clear, radically chic!
With characteristically juicy eloquence, Damir Avdić, the thunderous voice of the Balkan underground, dissects and lucidly reflects the contemporary banalities of the aimlessly wandering West, from Weinstein and Peterson to midlife crises, chickpeas and Tinder, ruthlessly ripping through society’s entrails. Through his minimalistic music expression, his sharp lyrics deftly swing between muted sarcasm, explicit irony and thoughtful cynicism.
A tireless touring schedule quickly spread the legend of the so-called “Bosnian psycho”, the sharpest poet of the Balkans, around the region, and his regular releases keep confirming him as one of the most important authors of the past decade. Taking a break from the studio, he’ll play material off of his 2019 album Radikalno šik, as well as older stuff and perhaps even something off of his upcoming release.
Due to current public health regulations, the concert will take place only via direct payable stream on the Entrio platform, viewable on any smart device.
