DadaDisko is back – a party for parents where children won’t be bored for a second. After the first sold-out spring family clubbing event, it’s time to meet on the dance floor once again!
On Saturday morning, 23 May, DadaDisko, an innovative family-friendly concept that blurs the lines between club culture, contemporary art and technology, is coming back to Kino Šiška. Family-friendly clubbing gives parents the dance floor back even with toddlers in tow, while opening the door to quality electronic music and creativity for the younger crowd. Let your imagination guide your outfit – the mirror ball and bubbles will be waiting for you.

A dance floor for all generations: From childlike playfulness to top-tier professionalism
Things will be lively behind the decks, with Raketa making sure both little ones and their bigs enjoy curated electronic beats. Her musical flow is designed to remind parents of their best club nights, while irresistibly pulling children into movement. Get ready for unexpected sonic surprises awakening your curiosity as well.
More thank just dancing: STEM and DIY creativity
DadaDisko puts active participation at the centre, which is why creative stations will be set up alongside the dance floor:
- Fashion futurism: We’ll make unique eyewear and apply glittering tattoos.
- Light painting: With a dash of modern technology and the use of an overhead projector, the youngest participants will co-create the visual effects decorating the venue.
- DJ Lab: Using synthesisers, we’ll explore how real electronic sounds are made.
- VJ Lab: Children step into the shoes of real visual artists and become the event’s VJs. By controlling video projections, they’ll create a live dynamic backdrop for the dance floor that pulses to the rhythm of the music.
A modern, family-friendly schedule
Aware that heading out with young ones can be a major undertaking, we’ve adapted the schedule to a family-friendly rhythm. The dancing starts at 10am and winds down by 1pm – just in time for lunch.
“DadaDisko is synonymous with family fun where boredom stays at home. If they’re not embarrassed to dance with you, they’re just the right age,” say mums Maša and Vesna, the creators of the project, adding that “this is a one-of-a-kind parent party where kids aren’t bored, and a kids’ party where parents have a great time too.”
