DOBRAVAGA x BOBRI: POP ART

art workshop

free entry

At the Pop Art workshop, we’ll explore visual expression through the style and techniques of one of the most prominent art movements of the 20th century – pop art, which offered an alternative to classical art by depicting imagery from popular culture and advertising.

Characterised by vivid colours and the use of basic elements of advertising and graphic design, pop art aims to bring art closer to everyday people through simple, recognisable and popular motifs, while also highlighting the banality of popular culture and consumerism in modern society. We will familiarise ourselves with the works of the most important representatives of this movement and, inspired by Andy Warhol, create our own pop art artwork.

The workshop is intended for children aged 6 and over.

The number of participants is limited.
Advance registration required at: maja.alibegovic@dobravaga.si
