Haize Lerroak documents the dance lines created over four years by vertical dancer Janire Etxabe among some of the most recognisable mountains and forests of the Basque Country, where she intervenes in the landscape together with her group Harrobi Dantza Bertikala. From the moment she discovered vertical dance, she knew it was her calling: suspended on ropes between mountains, in search of an indefinable emotion. Vertical dance turns the Basque mountains into both stage and source of inspiration, where movement and nature intertwine to bring dreams and emotions to life.

Tavan Bogd – In Search of the Sacred Mountains. The film takes us deep into the Tavan Bogd massif in the Altai Mountains of Mongolia. Camille Armand, Pierre Hourticq and Victor Daviet share a common passion not only for mountains, but also for exploring remote and little-known lands. Tavan Bogd – literally “the five sacred ones” – refers to a group of peaks steeped in symbolism and legend. For two weeks, a yurt will serve as their base camp, from where they will explore this little-known massif on skis and snowboards. But what is it they are truly seeking in these mountains?
