With more than three decades of high-octane ska-punk mayhem in the back, the beloved Mad Caddies are bringing their unmistakable sound back to Šiška.
Known for their infectious energy, razor-sharp musicianship, genre-hopping fearlessness, and tongue-in-cheek attitude, the Californian veterans promise a night of sweaty sing-alongs, skanking rhythms and pure punk revelry.

Formed in 1995, The Mad Caddies quickly set themselves apart from the crowded ska-punk scene with a sound that refused to sit still. While rooted in third-wave ska and melodic punk, their music freely borrows from reggae, jazz, swing, hardcore, Dixieland, Latin rhythms and even pop, creating songs that feel both playful and technically accomplished. Horn-driven anthems collide with breakneck punk tempos, while unexpected detours into lounge jazz or reggae grooves keep listeners permanently on their toes and the lyrics balance humour, satire, and light-hearted absurdity with moments of surprising introspection.
Over the years, the Caddies have showcased an ever-expanding musical palette, all the while sharing stages with an impressive roster of punk and ska heavyweights, including Bad Religion, Rancid, Less Than Jake, Dropkick Murphys, Reel Big Fish, and NOFX – they even joined the latter at the Ljubljana edition of the Punk in Drublic festival held right outside our venue in 2018. Closely associated with Fat Wreck Chords, they’ve long been part of a wider punk ecosystem that values independence, community and relentless touring. Their live résumé includes countless club shows and festival appearances across North America, Europe, Japan, and Australia, from sweaty basement gigs to major open-air stages.
Renowned as a formidable live band, The Mad Caddies thrive on audience interaction, chaotic energy, and musical precision. Their concerts are less about nostalgia and more about collective release: jumping, shouting, laughing, and losing yourself in the moment. When they return to Ljubljana, we can expect a career-spanning set packed with classics and unexpected twists, delivered with the irreverent charm and unstoppable momentum that have defined The Mad Caddies for more than thirty years.
