Belgrade-based indie rock band KOIKOI returns to Ljubljana with a brand-new album after electrifying performances at MENT Ljubljana and Gala Hala’s summer stage. Kicking off their tour in support of their second studio album O sreči u snovima, they’ll take to the big stage of our Katedrala Hall for the first time.

KOIKOI, one of the most exciting acts of the new Balkan alternative wave, fuses sonic eclecticism with unstoppable energy. Unbound by genre, the band playfully blends vibrant elements of indie rock, post-punk, electronica, and dream pop, weaving male and female vocals with hypnotic arrangements to create a true dance-floor beast.
With their acclaimed debut Pozivi u stranu, released by regional powerhouse Moonlee Records, and contributions to the cult compilations Hali Gali, KOIKOI have won over critics, audiences, and concert organisers alike, earning invitations to major international stages. Their high-octane live shows have lit up renowned festivals such as Eurosonic, Reeperbahn, INmusic, Europavox, Tallinn Music Week, and Exit, earning them a nomination for the prestigious Music Moves Europe Award and cementing their status as one of the most thrilling new bands from the Balkans.
In November, KOIKOI make their long-awaited return with O sreći u snovima, released under their own label, KoiKolektiv Records. Judging by the first single “Ponovo stran”, they’ve successfully dodged the “difficult second album” trap and delivered on the hype – and we’ll experience it all live this December at Kino Šiška.
