Zlatko and his Optimists are inviting you to a concert commemorating the 16th anniversary of the release of his first album Svet je lep.
To make the evening even spicier, Zlatko will also debut his new, eleventh studio album, called Svet je lep 2/✌️. He says that he named it that way only after those close to him, who worked on the new record, told him that the new material reminded them of “the old Zlatko,” who was very playful both musically and lyrically.
“Regardless of the times and trials that befall us in life, I am grateful that I have an immense will that allows me to work on my eleventh album as energetically and joyfully as if it were my first,” says Zlatko.
We all know Zlatko and it probably isn’t necessary to go into his story in detail. In recent times, we could see that what he has on his tongue is familiar to him in his life, especially when it comes to beliefs or personal opinions, and he has never hid it. He himself says that the best response to the past and everything that has happened in recent years is a new story. Music was always where he took refuge when things were the most beautiful or the most difficult. And why should this time be any different?
He will be accompanied on stage by the full line-up of his Optimists, counting eleven members including him. He also told us that he will surprise us with guests who have been part of his career from the beginning until today. Any ideas who?
The new album will be released as a booklet with lyrics, a description and a download code for the songs. Of course, the new songs will also be available on all digital platforms.
