A double concert night featuring two world-renowned Slovenian jazz musicians and composers, Zlatko Kaučič and Milko Lazar, presenting ENA/ONE, as well as the new version of KOMBO B, a mischievous music formation overseen by Kaučič, presenting their new album “Hramo”.
This time Zlatko Kaučič is coming back to Kino Šiška in a duet with Milko Lazar. They will be presenting their project ENA/ONE, taking you to an unusual and witty music journey.
Last year the two established Slovenian musicians, who have been following each other’s creativity throughout their careers, joined forces to create an experimental music adventure, Still Life of Slovenian Regions, and their collaboration has again been fruitful.
We will thus be having a double concert on 29 January, beginning with the Kaučič & Lazar duet, the second part to feature the performance of Kombo B (with guests) presenting their album Hramo.

“Hramo is our fifth record since we have been active in the “Zvočni izviri” association under the patronage of the Nova Gorica Union of Cultural Associations (ZKO). This time I opted for recording live with a new, younger generation, starting at the age of nine. Having achieved acclaim in Slovenian and even international music spheres, previous Kombo A members have now left their music ”nest. The names like Samo Šalamon, Vid Drašler, Jošt Drašler, Marko Lasič, Vitja Balzalorsky, Gal Furlan, etc. have become synonymous with the creativity of the school “Zvočni izviri”! My idea this time was to record a concert uncompromisingly after two years of practice, in a situation where most of the students had not yet seen the microphone and had never played in front of an audience. The record is a result to linger in their memories forever, including both mistakes and excellent performances.” (Zlatko Kaučič)
