When the rules of logic and storytelling are replaced by absurdity, unexpected twists, and playful associations of imagery, nonsense comics are born.
Following a brief presentation on the history of nonsense in literature and comics – spanning from Alice in Wonderland to Krazy Kat – participants will create individual comic panels guided by Finnish comic artists from the Kutikuti collective. Using rhythm and other visual storytelling approaches, they will then assemble these panels into a collaborative comic featuring multiple beginnings and endings, along with even more unexpected twists.

The workshop takes place in conjunction with the exhibition Kutiburger by the Finnish comic association Kutikuti and Stripburger magazine.
The workshop is free of charge and will be conducted in English. Places are limited.
