Just like when they visited us last in 2019, the Swiss gods of industrial will again be detonating material off a brand-new release during their concert in Šiška. Appear Disappear by is a record that marks a return to the band’s raw, aggressive roots, blending rock’s urgency with electronic power. It reflects a world in turmoil – defined by war, surveillance, and personal struggle – while confronting these realities through intense, sonic rebellion. The record questions humanity’s complicity in digital chaos and the challenge of taking a stand amid overwhelming data, while also celebrating unity, passion, and the transformative power of love through sound.
During the 1980s, The Young Gods harnessed the largely untapped power of samplers in a bold and transformative way, crafting a groundbreaking sonic identity that profoundly disrupted the landscape of rock music. Their innovative approach left a lasting mark on artists like David Bowie, Mike Patton, Sepultura, and Devin Townsend. Over the years, they’ve released albums through forward-thinking labels such as Ipecac, Play It Again Sam, Wax Trax!, and Interscope – clear evidence of both their wide-ranging influence and avant-garde vision. It is this vision that will once again be on display in Šiška in March 2026.
