THE HU I SOLD OUT

+ Itinera

Like Genghis Khan on a Judas Priest motorcycle, Mongolian folk metal sensation The Hu is set to storm Šiška! The band, known for their unique blend of metal riffs, traditional instruments, and throat singing, has impressed genre legends like Iron Maiden and Metallica, as well as hordes of listeners all over the world. This June, they will take over our Katedrala Hall.

Mongolian four-piece The Hu gained global recognition after being featured by NPR, but the roots of this Ulaanbaatar band trace back centuries. Their distinctive musical identity bridges the past and present, framing Mongolia’s rich heritage within a modern rock context through traditional instruments, ancient war chants, and throat singing. This signature style, known as “Hunnu Rock,” has earned them legions of fans worldwide, reflected in hundreds of millions of streams, critical acclaim from the likes of The Guardian, Revolver, and Billboard, and even the admiration of music icons like Sir Elton John.

Selling out venues around the world and performing at major festivals such as Download, Coachella, and Glastonbury, The Hu also caught the attention of numerous metal greats. Among others, Metallica invited them to contribute to The Metallica Blacklist tribute album, while Iron Maiden took them along on the North American leg of their global tour. The band has also reached millions via their musical contributions to the hit Star Wars video games Fallen Order and Survivor, proving their sound is truly out of this world and unlike any other in the galaxy. Don’t miss your chance to experience this extraordinary musical phenomenon when The Hu descend upon Kino Šiška in June 2025.

Itinera is a Hungarian duo blending Hungarian and pagan dark folk with electronica to create immersive, trance-like performances, often compared to acts like Heilung and Dead Can Dance. Formed by Anett Horváth and Ádám Nagy in 2022, they released their debut EP Aurora in 2023 and have since performed internationally, including at the renowned Tallinn Music Week showcase. Their debut full-length is on the way.

Tickets on general sale online and at Eventim outlets from 11 December with the code HU2025.
