Across the desert with a prepared guitar, across keyboards with drumsticks – Oasis Boom is a free-spirited French duo that takes listeners on a wild experimental voyage by blending desert rock, organic techno, and hypnotic melodies.
The musicians utilise unconventional techniques to create their unique polyrhythms, showcased on their 2025 album Cactus Bus, a picturesque performance that simulates a relentless night-time journey across desert dunes. Their high-energy shows have become known for a “kick and sweat” atmosphere that invites the audience to dance and lose themselves in the sound.
Summer in Šiška is a series of free evening concerts, from July 1 until September 19, helping you chase away the social distancing blues. If the weather cooperates, we’ll cool off with a refreshing drink on the summer terrace of Café Kino Šiška, and if it looks to be raining, we’ll listen to good tunes beneath the roof of our Komuna Hall.
