Styrian synth-pop nostalgics and Ljubljana indie punx

Summer in Šiška 2026: ĐOKO & Linija 6

Free open air concert series

free entry

Đoko is a new wave synth-pop outfit that deftly intertwines the aesthetics of the 1980s and 90s, channeling them through synths, electronic drums, guitars, and melancholic lyrics into a completely unique, current sonic signature.

Following a series of successful singles and the release of their debut album To ti vračam, tvoje je, which even earned the title of 2024 Album of the Year on Radio Terminal, they’ve established themselves as one of the most exciting names in the Slovenian alternative scene by unpacking themes of mental health, interpersonal relationships, and existential routines, having recently blown us away at MENT Ljubljana and at the afterparty for the Buč Kesidi concert.

Joining Đoko will be this year’s Špil Liga finalists, the indie rock punks Linija 6 from Ljubljana, who deliver teenage angst, joy, and emotions through wavy bass foundations, emotional guitar chords, defiant, stubbornly rebellious vocals, and the occasional unexpected flute interlude that would make both Jethro Tull and Speed proud. The strong mutual bonds behind their original tracks, hard-hitting dance rhythms, and tireless drive to have fun onstage frequently send the audience into a moshpit.

Summer in Šiška is a series of free evening concerts, from July 1 until September 19, helping you chase away the social distancing blues. If the weather cooperates, we’ll cool off with a refreshing drink on the summer terrace of Café Kino Šiška, and if it looks to be raining, we’ll listen to good tunes beneath the roof of our Komuna Hall. Welcome to your Summer in Šiška!

Free entry.
