With his debut album Ruinenkampf, Frankfurt-based sound artist Das Kinn, also part of the duo Les Trucs, presents a powerful sonic reflection on contemporary decay, blending industrial electronics with theatrical intensity.
The record navigates haunting, high-energy soundscapes influenced by DAF, Kosmische Musik, and the grit of Frankfurt’s underbelly. It’s a mix of pounding beats, eerie saxophones, and melancholic synths, described as both a hymn to demolition and a meditation on societal collapse.
