NOT EXACTLY LOST

Not Exactly Lost album release show

Sometimes good stories begin even before the main protagonists meet. The genre-intertwining, at times dreamy, sometimes melancholic, but always surprisingly melodic songs, sonically embodied by Tine Grgurevič BOWRAIN and Luka Uršič KALU under the name Not Exactly Lost, give the feeling as if they were created in another time and waited for the right moment and the right creative dynamics so that they can really shine.

We will be able to experience them at the end of October at Kino Šiška, where they will probably take a slightly different form. The duo will present their debut album in a live act which will be inspired by the moment. The concert will be a sound journey in which the two artists will search for a form of free expression that will be inspired by the audience. At the heart of the project, there is always the battle between following the form or daring to go the other way, between following the momentary inspiration or the original one. This dynamic is also the inspiration for the name of the project, as it talks about getting lost in the moment, which is, in the end, always the right way to go. Lost, but not exactly.

Before the concert, on October 7, the pair will release the single “Mala Okna”, accompanied by the premiere of the music video.

Luka Uršič KALU has been alternating between music and painting for more than 20 years. For the past 15 years, he has been collaborating with the artist JAŠA, as they found a common flow of creativity precisely in the intertwining of visual, performative and musical arts. He released his debut album Get Well Soon under the name KALU in 2018. He also developed his musical talent through collaborations with various Slovenian musicians such as YGT, Katja Šulc and Polona Kasal.
