MRFY, long established as the second-best band in Slovenia, are still having fun whether you like it or not.
With their fourth album on the horizon – featuring the banger hit “PS” alongside more than a dozen sturdy, lively, and well-bred pedigreed contenders – a monumental event is naturally in order: the band’s biggest concert to date! The evergreen Križanke Open-Air Theatre will be dressed in gold, while the golden boys celebrate their golden record with a few thousand golden buddies. Have a great time, if you dare.
FOR FANS OF: MRFY 1.0, MRFY 2.0, MRFY 3.0, MRFY 4.0
MRFY are a Slovenian indie rock/pop band, currently one of the most prominent names on the contemporary Slovenian music scene and a key representative of the so-called new wave of Slovenian music. They achieved wider recognition with their debut album Story (2018) and the hit single “Umru zate”, which was celebrated with a sold-out concert at our venue. A string of anthems followed, alongside expanding acclaim beyond Slovenian borders and a record-breaking haul of nine Golden Whistle awards, tra-la-la.
Summer 2026 opened a new creative chapter with the Feat Summer project and the release of Rotormotormrfypop, weaving MRFY’s signature sound into the electronic and regional music scenes. In parallel, the band’s new album Anti AI took shape, recorded in Ireland in June and eagerly awaited in Happy New Year 2027. This new era, MRFY 4.0, puts authenticity, spontaneity, and above all, the raw human element in music front and centre, fittingly launched by the roaring banger “PS”. With the new record, MRFY return to a more raw, direct live-band sound, set to ring out completely unfiltered beneath the open sky at Križanke. Dawgs, bitches, buddies, Venuses, bastards, angels – come join in too.
Tickets on sale on Monday, 9 November, at 10 am online and at Eventim outlets.
