The wait is over. We are delighted to share the complete programme for the Moving Balkans Contemporary Dance Showcase 2026, and we could not be more excited about what this edition has in store.
The main programme runs from 13–16 May 2026 in Novi Sad – four days of performances, conversations, and meaningful encounters. And if you can make the trip a little longer, there is additional programming on 12 and 17 May worth staying for.
What’s on
Showcase Performances: the Top 10 works selected through our Open Call. These are the pieces worth building your schedule around.
Dance Scape Pitches: six choreographers present short pitches on their current work and creative direction. An ideal space to spot what’s coming next and connect with artists early in the process.
Side Programme: co-productions, VR presentations, installations, and networking events. Room to discover, slow down, and engage with work outside the main stage format.
Don’t Miss Out
Beyond the programme, this is four days with a carefully assembled group of delegates (programmers, producers, festival directors, and other professionals) all there with the same purpose. The schedule is designed to leave room for the conversations that matter just as much as the programme itself.
If your diary allows, we encourage you to consider arriving on the 12th or staying through the 17th, the additional programme on both days is a worthwhile extension of the experience.
Delegate spots are limited and the list is growing. If you have been thinking about joining us, now is the time.
