The winners of the 6th International Zine Open Call (2020), Mihael Novak and Lene Lekše, will present their solo exhibition GRRRR.
The exhibition will feature a joint zine consisting of glimpses of the curious exploration of urban New York, its communal green areas and other spaces of diverse communities, where they captured cute creatures such as tigers, monkeys, dragons and hippos with their lens. In an ingenious combination of the use of cloth, textures, sound modules and animal patterns, their collection of random plush altars, urban decorations and graffiti will also come to life in the gallery space, clad into roaring and the recollection of the urban pulse of the Big Apple.
