As part of the 10th anniversary celebration of Kino Šiška, we will provide for all comic book fans and premiere the new album by Martin Ramoveš. The artist dove into the life and work of poet and satirical writer Ivan Rob (1908–1943), who exists somewhere at the edge of the Slovenian literally consciousness. And as has become habit with Ramoveš’s comic book albums, it also relates to music – Martin Ramoveš Band recorded an album of Rob’s poems with musical accompaniment.
The evening will be introduced by a short conversation with Martin Ramoveš on creating the comic book. It will be followed by a concert, accompanied by a projection of excerpts from the comic book. You’re warmly invited to an evening of comic books, poetry and music.
