Online on 25th of September from Kino Šiška & 15 other iconic music venues across Europe

25. 9. 2020, 17:00–20:00

We are teaming up with 15 other major music venues part of the Liveurope platform to put together a truly European and cross-border online festival.

For the first time ever, the Liveurope Festival – the flagship annual festival of the live music platform for new European talent – will take place online, allowing you to discover some of the most promising acts of our continent from wherever you are in the world!

And what a treat we got cooking up for you: more than 10 up-and-coming acts from over 10 nationalities – all streamed directly from Europe’s most iconic stages. And to make things even better, the festival will be streamed free of charge!

The line-up includes Charlotte Adigéry (BE), Mekdes (DK), Nebraska band (FR), Drens (DE), Pijammies (SI), Ooostblok (NL), Zvíře jménem Podzim (CZ), Anna Andreu (ES), BÖBE (HU), Malin Pettersen (NO), Dj Danifox (PT), Jelsa (PL).

So join us on 25 September to follow the livestream of the concerts on Liveurope Facebook page.

Renewing the European music scene

The Liveurope platform was born in 2014 to allow venues like Kino Šiška to take more risks in booking new European acts while helping artists to break beyond their national borders.

Despite the many challenges that lie ahead, we see the current pandemic as a resetting moment for the music sector and our societies as a whole. In the framework of the festival, we launched a statement to reaffirm our commitment to continue working closely together with our European partners to boost the circulation of Europe’s rich musical diversity and highlight the unique role venues can take in reviving the music ecosystem.

Conference for music professionals

The Liveurope Online Festival also includes a conference dedicated to music professionals which will take place in parallel to the concerts streams on 24 and 25 September. Through a series of 5 working sessions approaching different themes, we will look at what is needed to lay the foundations for a more desirable future for the music sector. You can learn more about the professional programme of the festival on Liveurope’s website
