Laplander is a musical fusion of Slavic traditions and the as yet undiscovered sounds of the internet. The group crafted their debut album during the difficult weekends of 2020. They tackle fearless musical experimentation and hyper-pop-inspired fragmentation comprehensively, building instantly appealing, catchy songs from the chaotic primordial soup of lyrics, melodies and arrangements. Laplander stands firmly in the modern musical landscape, hooking unwary listeners with fascinating compositions at the intersection of pop, folk and future.
