At the invitation of Musicology Barcaffe Sessions and accompanied by keyboardists Dennis Hamm, Rai Thistlethwayte and Jacob Mann, bassist Sam Wilkes, saxophone player Sam Gendel and guitarist Thom Gill, Knower will perform in Ljubljana for the first time.
The duo Knower are drummer and producer Louis Cole and singer Genevieve Artadi. Their DIY videos have turned them into a hot online sensation over the past eight years, with the session recorded in their own home reaching 3.5 million views in just a week. They’re coming to Ljubljana at the invitation of Musicology Barcaffe Sessions, where they will present their fourth album Life, which is taking the global funk scene by storm.
Since beginning their music career in 2010, they constantly keep the groovy funk, cool chords, deep melodies and funky vocals going, all carefully blended into an exciting, at times even spacey combination.
