In collaboration with Hangar Teatri, Koala Voice are coming to Trieste!
The band will perform live, presenting their fifth studio album Auf Wiedersehen (2024), which they are currently showcasing on a tour across Slovenia and abroad.
With their energetic blend of indie rock, punk pop, and disco, Koala Voice captivate audiences with charisma, musicianship, and boundless stage energy. Their musical journey has taken them to the stages of numerous major European festivals – including Liverpool Sound City, Tallinn Music Week, Bush Budapest, Pohoda, Monkey Week, Exit, and Inmusic – as well as to the role of opening act for the legendary Pixies at their concert in Ljubljana’s Križanke.
The band members are Domen Don Holc, Manca Trampuš, Miha Prašnikar, and Tilen Prašnikar.
The evening will be opened by Kalpa, a young Trieste-based talent with a distinctive lo-fi and nostalgic sound. His music is an engaging mix of alternative lo-fi melodies, ambient-electronic soundscapes, ’90s-inspired guitars, and deeply nostalgic synths, spiced with elements of trip-hop and indietronica.
