In October, a new musical ritual awaits, this time under the guidance of Norwegians Kalandra, who have enraptured hundreds of thousands of listeners all over the world with their spiritual folk pop. They’ll be joined by the returning Lili Refrain, the Italian priestess of mystical frequencies and a siren voice.

FOR FANS OF: Heilung, A. A. Williams, Roadburn Festival …

Kalandra is a Norwegian band known for its cinematic Nordic folk pop, characterized by atmospheric melodies and robust guitars. They broke through with millions of YouTube views for their cover of Wardruna’s “Helvegen”, following up with successful singles before releasing their 2020 debut album, contributing music to TV series and games, and touring with the likes of Leprous and A.A. Williams at the end of 2023.

Their latest single “The State of the World” marks a shift towards a more delicate sound, resonating with a broad international audience that is racking their Spotify count up to seven digits and beyond.

Lili Refrain, a renowned Italian multi-instrumentalist and composer, proved her live mettle in Šiška not long ago, when her mesmerizing blend of electric guitar, voice, percussion, and synthesizers charmed a rapt audience. Defying linguistic and geographical limitations, her ritualistic concert in Ljubljana delivered a cathartic experience revolving around her latest album Mana, which boldly explores lower frequencies and new vocal techniques. Having graced the stages of international festivals such as Roadburn, Hellfest, and Desertfest, it’s a pleasure to have her return to Šiška.
