We’re rounding off the Summer in Šiška with Infected, the winners of the third season of our Špil Liga high school band league!
They won’t infect you with a dangerous virus, just their music, which luckily has no antidote. Infected are a young band that don’t wish to limit themselves – neither genre-wise nor expressively.
After years of learning the ropes – they first drew attention to themselves in 2016 by winning several band competitions, including our own Špil Liga, they released their first original song and video Miselne ceste. The song represented just a fragment of the album Kolaž, which they debuted in December 2018 at Kino Udarnik in Maribor.
Last year, they won a contest to play the main stage at INmusic Festival in Croatia. Afterwards, they later spread their musical infection around Slovenian living rooms with their Tour de Kauch.
Summer in Šiška is a series of free evening concerts, helping you chase away the summer boredom. If the weather cooperates, we’ll cool off with a refreshing drink on the summer terrace of Café Kino Šiška, and if it looks to be raining, we’ll listen to good tunes curled up on the couches in our lobby. Welcome to your Summer in Šiška!
