While getting ready to record their next album, Ljubljana shoegaze heroes Haiku Garden will stop by on our stream! In addition to old favorites from their excellent past releases they’ll play brand new material, so don’t miss the gig – after all, it’s even easier to gaze at your shoes when you’re lying down in the comfort of your own home.
Haiku Garden are a shoegaze/neo-psych band from Ljubljana that play loud and noisy guitar music with hints of pop. Despite their youth and relatively short career, their professional approach and excellent original songs have earned them an important place on the Slovenian music scene. Both their EP debut Waver (2016, KAPA Records) and their full-length Where If Not Now (2018, KAPA Records) received excellent reviews, and they’ve also released an album of stripped-down acoustic versions, recorded live for the Izštekani radio show.
In Šiška, they’ve warmed us up for The Jesus and Mary Chain and SUUNS, among others, and they’ve built on their local success with concerts all over Europe. In total, they’ve played more than 130 gigs already, but this one won’t be special just because of the fresh material from their upcoming album, but also because their drummer has brand new drums. See them live on stream!
