Starting as a DJ and producer in Bristol’s flourishing 90’s music scene, Fin Greenall aka Fink has evolved into a renowned musician with an impressive repertoire. His debut album Fresh Produce under Ninja Tune in 2000 showcased his eclectic electronic style, but following disillusionment with dance music, he started exploring more traditional songwriting.
In 2006, he recorded the soulful album Biscuits for Breakfast, a fusion of intricate rhythms and haunting lyrics, with a full band. His subsequent albums were not only artistically acclaimed but also featured in numerous films and advertisements, including Ava DuVernay’s Oscar-nominated film Selma and the TV series Suits. Meanwhile, Fink’s collaborations with industry legends like Amy Winehouse and John Legend, particularly his contribution to Legend’s Evolver, have earned him critical acclaim and prestigious awards.
2014’s Hard Believer marked yet another milestone with the hit “Looking Too Closely,” garnering over 100 million Spotify plays to date, while Fink’s more recent works represent the full spectrum of his career – from intimate bedroom recordings to hitting the big stages. With more than ten albums and a life dedicated to music, Fink returns to the stage in 2024, bringing his rich musical history enthusiasm to our venue for a night of memorable melodies and compelling storytelling.
