In the En dva svetova collective, we are individuals who, in light of the genocide against the Palestinian population – which is still happening – want to express our disagreement with the violence, mass displacement and bombing experienced by the families of civilians in Gaza.
We are students from various backgrounds, musicians and members of the working class, who want to show by organizing a charity concert and donating to Palestinian organizations that even ordinary people without political power can help at least a little and act in accordance with our values.
The En dva svetova music & theater event is about celebrating music, culture and freedom of expression. All performers and organizers give up their fees for those who need it most. We are also performing the concert to commemorate Hind Rajab and thousands of other children who were killed by the Israeli war machine with the support of the USA, Great Britain and the EU.
The proceeds of the entire event will go to families in Gaza who are living in catastrophic conditions and urgently need money to evacuate their loved ones and get basic medical supplies. We are supported by Zavod Voluntariat, which is also the official organizer of the event.
The concert will take place on May 15, on Nakba Day, at 20:30 at Kino Šiška. In addition to various musical and theatrical acts, we will organize stands with products by young artists from Slovenia and Palestine, which will be available for voluntary contributions.
