We’re bringing Slovenian bunker-pop and art-punk band Balans to the TACT festival in Trieste, blending the pathos of Yugoslav punk with contemporary performative practices.
The Slovenian bunker-pop / art punk band balans was formed by Andrej Pervanje and Kristin Čona in 2013. The band holds a place in the contemporary musical avant-garde, combining the pathos of Yugoslav punk with contemporary performative practices, drawing parallels from Belgrade to Manchester. They are known for their artistic approach to music creation and visual identity, often collaborating with various artists, fashion designers, and photographers.

The TACT Festival is organized by CUT Trieste, with the support of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Autonomous Region, the Pietro Pittini Foundation, and the Alberto and Kathleen Casali Charitable Foundation.
The Festival is part of the “Trieste Estate fuoricentro” program, promoted by the Municipality of Trieste and curated by Teatro degli Sterpi, with technical support from Hangar Teatri.
