After the “timeless explosion” (Radio Študent) they detonated in 2011 in our Katedrala Hall, the Swiss gods of industrial are returning with their new, twelfth album and a robust veteran line-up.

Since the release of her viral first single “Escalate”, the music of Belgian gal Tsar B, who counts Grimes, FKA twigs, Rihanna and Banks, among her influences, has spread like lightning among fans of contemporary, R&B-tinged electronic pop. A mere month after the release of her eagerly anticipated debut album, the musician, hailed by critics as “ecstasy for the senses”, will stop at Šiška!

Last year, Dutch trance/blues shamans My Baby sold out, danced out and heated up our smaller hall with an unforgettable performance. A year later, they’re coming back to our large stage with a brand new record and a whole new mission – to check off 2018 together with us and our neighbourhood at the traditional Šiška New Year’s bash. They’ll be joined by Serbian trio Igralom and their new album.

At their most recent visit in May 2016, the “genius clowns left a mighty impression on the audience” (Radio Študent) and treated us to a “perfect Tiger Lillies evening” (Delo) with their cheekily bizarre cabaret. Upon their return in December, these unique Grammy nominees will present the sinful and debauched scenes off of their newest album Devil’s Fairground.

After leaving their mark on the opening night of the MENT Ljubljana 2018 festival, the post-punk-gospel connection is returning to Šiška, in a time when, due to events around the world, its righteous fury, unbowing political stance and call to rebellion are all the more on point – and needed. Don’t miss the return of one of the most thrilling bands of the 21st century!

Milko Lazar and Bojan Gorišek and their guests, the Zagreb Saxophone Quartet, will present a brand new programme, including two novelties premiered in Šiška. The programme will intertwine compositions by Milko Lazar and Philip Glass for two pianos and compositions for an unusual sextet of four saxophones and two pianos.

October will again be coloured by comics! The Tinta comics festival will focus on the variety and breadth of contemporary comics creativity with a carefully curated selection of intriguing local and foreign guests and a diverse programme featuring exhibitions, lectures, talks, film screenings, a comics fair, storytelling and other events.
